Tripp Fountain

Tripp Fountain is thrilled to be a part of the Simple Gift Series family, being able to support as a Production Supervisor as well as create script-based, musical, and voice-over content.

Outside of SGS, the past several years have seen Tripp mainly working as a director and choreographer in New York, regionally, extensively with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, and at the Colorado Springs Conservatory. Colorado-based productions include Oklahoma!, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Cabaret, The Fantasticks, and Fiddler On The Roof. He is also currently in the midst of various theatrical creative processes.

A Colorado native, Tripp grew up in Monument, training around the region in all aspects of theater, music, and dance, and is an alumnus of the Colorado Springs Conservatory. After graduation, he attended NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, earning his BFA in Drama with a Minor in Psychology.

Remaining based in New York since that time, Tripp has performed on several national tours, on the high seas, regionally, and on Broadway. He continues to pursue work on the performing side, with a special interest in helping incubate new works.

In addition, Tripp’s schedule has allowed him to guest teach and mentor for students in Colorado and in New York. A favorite exclamation is that “We have to teach the children!” Though dramatic, he truly believes that it is the world’s ongoing great work, and this sentiment rings true in everything that Simple Gift Series, helmed by Linda Weise, is creating.
