Christina Wells
Christina Wells is a native of Colorado Springs, CO and is proud to be a part of Simple Gift Series team. She champions the design, illustration and creative elements for all the episodes, books, lessons and characters. Christina is the daughter of the creator, Linda Weise, and she works alongside her mother making the songs and stories come to life.
Growing up at the Colorado Springs Conservatory (CSC), Christina knows all too well journey of creating- the joy, the discipline and diligence it takes to bring something to life. She studied voice, piano, composition, jazz, opera and musical theater at the CSC.
She is an accomplished pianist, vocalist, stage designer and muralist. Christina received her undergraduate degree from Webster Conservatory in St. Louis in Musical Theater. She has performed roles throughout her performing career.
She also has been teaching voice, piano and singer-songwriter to students at the Colorado Springs Conservatory since 2016.

Along with her work on the Simple Gift Series, Christina is a lead singer/songwriter for her band CC and the Silhouettes, a local band in Colorado Springs. The band just released their first EP in November 2020.
Christina is thrilled to bring her artwork and her mother’s stories to life in Simple Gift Series and hopes that many children will find the joy of music and learning the same way she did growing up.
